Finding My Peace
.
my brain flies high with the night
wildly finishing the day
in awe by all of the stars in the sky
and wanting to run away
to a place I long to see
full of lavender and maple trees
I will not stop travelling
until I find my peace

Why Not Fly Away Tonight?
things can get confusing
people come and go
family turns their backs on you
friends turn into foes
.
we all are trying to make it
through this crazy life
even if we have to fake it
why not fly away tonight?
.

Do you ever feel like you want to fly away? I do. I miss having dreams about flying; it’s such a liberating feeling!
