God is always good, no matter what is going on in our lives. He deserves all of the praise because He is just that GREAT! He cannot lie about who He is, for He is ALL POWERFUL, ALL KNOWING, and ALL AMAZING!

Psalm 145:5-7
I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness. They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness.

Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!

His Goodness
pay attention
to the lover of your soul
within a heart bleeds forth
all that manifests divine
wonderful is this distinguished virtue
there are none more glorious to compare
.
a perfect passion whispers
throughout the countryside
and all left aside
will stand profoundly unrequited
just like an unselfish nature evolving upward
is this particular consistent force
now weighing heavily on those
who need abundant love
which equates to everyone
as a distinctive whole
.
I can’t contain
God’s goodness
or try to explain
his mercy
I can’t sit quietly
when He deserves
all the reverence
all the praise
our Maker
showers down upon us
His endless love
for He is good

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.
