We Must Protect Our Natural Environment~~Poetry~
.
whistling winds, whirling wildly
summer’s seeing its last days
rain quenching the thirst of nature
washing yesterday away
.
bunnies hide in fields of green
while birds and squirrels
stay in the hollows as they sing
their calls out through
the land for all to hear
oh, what a joy they bring
.
the mountains burst with breathtaking beauty
the sky is full of clouds, and I can see
the remnants of the past within the
the trunks of many trees
.
the future calls, and I listen
I must keep going on my mission
to help enhance the world’s condition
before it is too late
.
