I emptied myself before him
Within my inner-being, I yearned for him
My thoughts drifted within the winds around me
Suddenly I could not move
For his power shone too greatly about
I praised him from my soul within
For words could not escape my lips
He shined so brilliantly beyond the heights
He showed me sites previously unfathomable
He spoke so very gently
I longed to be forever in his presence
Suddenly I realized the numerous times he’d rescued me
Suddenly I remembered how many times he’d saved me-
From seemingly impossible situations
I fell before him
And lowly bowed my head
The earth shook all around me
Yet suddenly peace enveloped me
My God became a father to me
And now I know he’ll never leave me
