Beware of the Snares

we plea for the fig tree to disagree
the bee gleefully flees to safety
a man plays a bizarre tune on the shiny guitar
as he smokes his cigar in his big fancy car
.
as he steers, the roads are sunny and clear
a deer appears in the rearview mirror
the sun beats down on the gun in the front
the deer screams in fear and starts to run
.
the man has a plan and takes a mighty stand
he pulls the trigger in his right hand
he shoots at the deer on his morning commute
the deer gets a clue and takes a different route
.
people in the street lay on the hot concrete
their secrets are asleep in the scorching heat
a wild child spins around outside and tries to hide
the ones with pride collide with hound dogs in stride
.
flowers melt as showers fall from wilted towers
cowards overpower gummy candies every hour
bears have stared long enough at the stairs
they must beware of the snares of billionaires
