When it’s Hard to Let Go

It’s still necessary if you want to grow.

Recently, someone really hurt my feelings. I honestly don’t know why it hurt so bad when this person has hurt me in the same way so many times in the past. Today though, I need to learn to let this go sooner than later. To help me out , I looked up a few Bible verses.

Proverbs 9:7-9 ESV

Proverbs 9:7-9 ESV /

Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse, and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury. Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.

Hebrews 8:12

Hebrews 8:12

“For I will be merciful to their iniquities,
And I will remember their sins no more.”

Proverbs 17:9

Proverbs 17:9

He who conceals a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates intimate friends.

James 3:2

James 3:2 – If we can control our speech, we can control all areas of our lives

I’ve learned that I can’t control what other people do, but I can control how I handle a situation. This time, I’m not going to fight back. This time, I will keep my peace. This time I’m going to choose to grow.

Thanks for reading!

Until next time, stay safe, and be blessed! 🙂
