Waking Up From a Trance~~Poetry~Sometimes Reality is Better~

~Poetry is NOT dead!~

~Poetry is for everyone!~

~Happy Poetry!~

Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!

Hello, my poetry and writing friends! How are you doing? I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry and writing blog; I appreciate you!

*

Here, we can share writing and ideas and find hope in this crazy world.

*

Poetry can draw out your emotions, and words can be like medicine as they spill out onto the page. It’s really amazing!

*

We are all in this together, and life is a process. No matter what stage you are in, I want to cheer you on because you are still here, and we can’t say that for many people.

*

Our time is now, so let’s try to make the best of it! I feel much better than last year and am very thankful for that.

~Sometimes reality is better~

in the middle of my fantasy
I wake up from my trance to see

*

the beauty in reality

*

how did I forget
the lights shining around me
and rainbows in the prism glass
the grass under my once soft feet
or the freedom to accept myself?

*

it’s an impossible feat

*

yet I am still succeeding

*

and you will someday see
how truly strong I am

*

I don’t need a trance-like state
for in this life
I now feel safe

*

dealing with the reality
I am now strong enough to see
the end
and it’s not as scary as I thought

*

I’m ready to live life again

How about you? Are you struggling? I know I used to feel like things were hopeless, and I never thought they would get any better. Through prayer and retraining my mind, things are getting better. Now that therapy has been added to my regimen, I have even more hope.

*

Even without therapy, there is a way to feed your brain through things like music and positive messages. Something is out there to give you more peace of mind, whether you are religious or not. Thankfully we have the whole internet at our fingertips!

*

I like to listen to Bible verses to music in the morning, which comforts me and makes me feel safer. I have trouble feeling safe, so I need to start the morning trying to calm myself, or I am a nervous wreck otherwise.

*

I listen to the same song every morning. It’s a positive song that centers around gratitude to God for pretty much everything. It helps me remember what is important, which helps me feel more hopeful throughout the day. I encourage you to find your peaceful process; it’s different for everyone.

~Thanks for reading! Until next time, stay safe, and be blessed!~ 🙂
