Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends! 🙂

I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!

On my journey to move on this morning, I was reminded to lay my burdens down and give them to God. I imagined giving away all of my problems and saw them floating lightly away.
.

The image of God carrying my worries makes me feel safe, giving me more hope as I continue to go forward.
.

If you are trying to move on from something in your life, then just take it one moment at a time. Looking too far ahead can be too overwhelming, so try to take it slow.

Stop Hiding Behind Fear

put it all down on the floor
close your eyes and say a prayer
try to let emotions flow
hopefully, they will keep on going
.
cross your arms upon your lap
try to set the story straight
shut your mind, try to distract
make the truth all plainly clear
.
open up the envelope
quickly drink from what’s inside
try not to lose faith in hope
stand up right now for your life
.
heed the wisdom told with love
as it travels ear to ear
use God’s light to save yourself
stop hiding behind the mask of fear
