I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!

Every morning I try to start my day with thanks to God. I am thankful for so many things. In this uncertain world, we can hold onto the promise that God is our refuge. He’s there for us during the good and the bad, the dark and the cold, and all of the in-between.

Ask God to make Him the desire of your heart, and He will fill you with a thirst for Him. If you are unsure, ask for more faith. If you are scared, ask Him to calm your fears. Ask him, in Jesus’ name- the one who can help you through any burdensome storm in life.

Psalm 34:22
The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
.
Colossians 1:13-14
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
It’s a miracle to me that God loves us enough to sacrifice His own Son for us. He went through pain and anguish He didn’t have to experience. He has such a good plan for us, so don’t forget to call out to Him in times of joy as well as times of sorrow.
Psalm 98:1-4
Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.

Please, Help Me Tonight
I’m calling out to you
for I don’t want to fall
I don’t want to go back to
the place where I came from
I need your help to cope
and to get me through this awful night
please reach out your loving hand to me
and spread your radiant light

The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.
John 8:12
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
