a nervous tone in your voice
smiles leaving too soon
not making a choice
logic is nowhere to be found
monkey’s on your spine
prickly thorns in your tea
I will make you mine
just you wait and see
it’s OK if you think you are not a prize
you are more than priceless in my eyes

I’ll be the light you need in your life
I will be strong and stay by your side
I’ll be your family and your friend
I will comfort you when you are suffering
I’ll catch you if I see you falling
I will be with you through everything
