Heaven or Hell~It depends on the day
Heaven or Hell~It Depends on the Day~~Poetry
does heaven on earth exist for you?
for me?
.
some days I feel like I’m in heaven
and others, in some type of hell
.
but usually, the hell lives within me
and I need to tame the raging beast
the demons of the past
and all the places memories hide
.
I’ll shine the light in there as well
until the next tragedy or the next smile
I will be prepared for heaven or hell

I Am Not Alone in This~Everyone experiences suffering~~Poetry~
time passes
bringing sudden sadness
for cherished loved ones
lost, but not quickly forgotten
life slipped quickly through my fingers
like soft sand
vivid memories consumed
my every waking breath
hauntings of happy faces
smiles and laughter
mixed with tears
all of those years
now, gone
never to be visited again
alone now
wondering if
I will ever find
comfort in
the memories that should be
lasting a lifetime
who am I to be
more unhappy than the rest
for everyone has experienced
some type of loss
so I am not alone in this
