I used to feel the warmth of light
yet as I search it can’t be found
until I look outside myself
and remember God is with me now
He’s never late to rescue us
as long as we have breath
He’s not here to condemn us
He’s here for us as a friend
so if I start to feel like I’m alone
on this road I travel upon
I will simply bow my head
for I know that God is strong enough
He’ll right the wrongs
and bring us peace
for God is good in everything
