Falling From the Sky
as I fell from a mystical moonbeam
the umbrella tree broke my fall
its leaves embraced me within the green
wrapping me like a pleasant cocoon
the breeze whistled a candied melody
my heart found a solitary piece
I didn’t even know I was missing
I could suddenly breathe freely again

A Sweet Sounding Song
her song massaged my ears
and entered my spirit
awaking me to a new, vibrant life
full of the right type of
stimulation for my senses
surrounding me in serenity
I like to play it on repeat
