Hello, and welcome to my poetry and writing blog. I am so glad you are here! I hope you are all well and have been being kind to you yourselves. Something I was reminded about today was the fact that we need to drink water, and how important water is in general. It motivated me to drink my first glass of water for the day, so I will give you the reminder as well- drink your water! 🙂
Today’s poem is a spiritual poem. I am trying to write more uplifting poetry since I have been writing depressing things for so long. I hope you enjoy this short and simple poem.
A verse that I always remember in the Bible is 1 John 4:19. It says, “We love him, because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)
This verse reminds me that God is the author of love. If he hadn’t loved us, and given us the ability to love, we wouldn’t have the capability of loving anyone or anything. God is love, and through him, we can learn how to be more loving to ourselves, as well as show more love to others.
Don’t forget- better days are coming; better days are already here! 🙂
