Hello, Poetry Friends, and Happy New Year! 💜💜💜
I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!
How do you begin your day? Do you rush off without a thought, or do you try to start your day with purpose? I like to start my day with a short Bible study, and then I feel ready to get things done. I enjoy having the Bible App and use it daily. There are many different Bible studies to choose from with various topics.
Over time, having this daily routine has increased my faith in God, and given me more hope to go on. Sometimes, all I could do was to pray, “Jesus, Help me!”I have a feeling that this “Little Prayer” was not little at all. The power of Jesus exceeds my comprehension, so I should not take this power lightly.
When I asked Jesus to help me, He heard me. I know I am never alone, and that He holds onto His own.

A Helpful Reminder
I begin the day with love
and thank our God above
as I say a little prayer
and hear, “You are enough.”

A New Start
in the morning
when all is new
the sun smiles upon us
beyond the boundless blue
helping us to know
we are cherished and loved
we are kissed from the sky

It’s amazing for me to know that the world was created through Jesus Christ. It leaves me in awe at the genius of Him. I think back to John 1-4-
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Jesus is the Word of God. Another thing that I find very heartwarming is when the Bible says a little further down- John 1:17-18
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
Jesus Christ is the answer to this world’s problems!
John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
