Progression Toward A Sense of Solace
the clouds wiped my tears
I replenished myself
by drinking the blue of the sky
birds kept me flying
until I found a safe place to land
looking around
finally, on the ground
surrounded by greenery
with little blue and purple flowers
feet in the dirt
cherishing the earth
giving new birth
to fresh possibilities
sweet taste in the air
lavender wishes in my hair
I know I am almost there
to the next level of being
