No One Saw Coming

when the spinning returns 
and the air feels much thicker 
when you’re caught in the middle
of a chaotic morning
take a moment to look at yourself
at the very source of your weakness 
see the lack of perfection
within these moments
bringing a connection
bonded between us
that no one saw coming
it won’t be broken
