Keeping Quiet
my hand on my mouth
biting my tongue
keeping my lips shut
wanting to erupt with
the secret I am
having trouble keeping
I want to shout it
from the top of the building
but instead, I must clamp
my mouth tightly together
because I vowed to never tell a soul
and refuse to reveal what I know
~Poetry is NOT dead!~
Practice This As Much As Possible
listen
ponder
dream until
you really
mean it
tell yourself
you are
enough
and
there is
hope
for better
days
say these
things
and see
how you feel
practice this
as much as possible
