Everything is Different

goodbye lemon sunshine
rain falling from my ceiling
blue stones underneath my feet
soothing songs stringing a tune
falling to the floor, I close my eyes
the piano plays an eerie melody
feet heavy, dragging through the floor
no more purple dreams under my shoulders
the world streams colors brighter than the stars
you’re so far away from where I wish I were
the street won’t recognize your heart tomorrow
I never knew who you were underneath your show
