Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!π€
I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!
I wrote this poem earlier in the year when I began my journey with a new therapist (again). I cycle through therapists just like my thoughts spin.
Sometimes I feel like I need to recover from the therapy itself.

A Progression of Reasoning
how did I end up here?
in this plight of circular misery?
is it mandatory to figure it out?
or should I keep advancing?
I know there is not much I can control
my mind wonβt stop twisting around
it feels like a towel being wrung out
I take a deep breath and focus on a center point
as it grounds me back into myself
I manifest my affirmations and say them out loud
it feels powerful to be so bold
I can get through this moment with grace
letting go of harmful thoughts in my psyche
feeling free within my spirit, now clean
