Today’s poem originates from one of the True Crime cases I watched. I will always wonder how some of these things could happen and where/when the person had a turning point in their life.

Such A Shame
they bled in the dark
away from the sun
such meaningless pain
souls coming undone
they severed their friendship
with none to replace
having no hope left
they gave up in haste
two hearts separated
they tried to escape
under the scorching sun
they slithered like snakes
both withered and died
their lives were erased
it was such a shame
it all started with hate
