I am a lover of words, and I believe that words matter. Usually, the people who believe that words don’t matter are the ones who are using their words to harm others.
I try to watch my words because I don’t want to end up with more regret than I already have.

Deep Within Nothingness
you try to choke and twist out the softness of my heart
placing prickly thorns through crevices in the dark
using your false authority as I cower in the corner
defeated as a lone deer in a forest of disaster
my purity swooped low during years of stolen silence
rocking in the chair to the beat of many regrets
I’d cry a tear if I thought it could solve this madness
time drown in the darkness of a pond deep within nothingness
