Hello, hello, hello, and happy Friday! Friday is finally here and it’s hard to believe because this week really flew by. I hope you enjoy your holiday weekend and find something to do without having to worry about too much social distancing. I wonder when all of this chaos will end??!!

Acceptance
Seeing you in the shadows of
my heart
I now embrace moving forward
Without you
I throw a pebble into the sands of time
Representing my choice to
Let you go
Even though in the past
I ate the bait
It sours as poison now
I can see the path before me
Though it looks less populated
It smells of peaceful lavender
I will finally breathe in a sense of normalcy
And feel at peace within myself
Letting wrongs fade beneath the dust
I can learn to smile again
For it no longer matters
Who was in the wrong
I have moved past denial and anger,
And am letting the sadness go
Soon, I will reach acceptance
