Happy Thursday!
Hello, hello, hello and happy Thursday! I hope you are well and not going nuts over this lockdown. Personally, I cannot wait for the salons to open because my daughter wants to get a waaaay cool haircut! I asked her if I could do it, but she wants a pretty complex style that involves shaving certain areas and leaving other areas long so she does not want me to mess it up- I do not blame her!
Another thing I am excited about is to get my other foot tattoo to complete my symmetry. It will hurt like hell like my other foot, but oh well, oh well, oh well!
The other thing on my list is to get my septum pierced again. I took it out after my son said it looked like a nose moustache! Later on, I found out that he was just joking, but by then it was too late and had closed up. I know, I shouldn’t care so much about what others think and need to work on that. To be honest, I am still quite immature in some areas, and that leads me to today’s poem…
Today’s Poem
Today’s poem is completely immature and maybe even uncalled for, but I am going to post it anyway because there are many forms of poetry, and I have gone through many phases in my life. Plus, I didn’t sleep well last night so maybe in a way, I am a little delirious and will completely regret posting this poem later. I have so many poems from years ago and enjoy picking and choosing them, as well as writing new ones. I hope you get a kick out of this poem if nothing else. Here we go! 🙂
Why Don’t You Just Shut Up?
Put me in a little box
Spin me round and round
Throw me in your raging fire
Burn me to the ground
Whatever you try to do
You won’t knock me down
It’s not all about you
Like some selfish pig
You don’t really know me
I’m not a well-laid grid
Until you get yourself together
Consider what you did
Until next time, stay safe and be blessed!
