Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!🖤

I hope you are well! thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!

Do you struggle with forgiveness? I have read that forgiveness is a process we must revisit numerous times to reclaim it and remember it. I know it takes time because I am willing, but haven’t fully accomplished it yet.

As I read this poem, it pissed me off! No, just kidding… but it made me see that when anger takes hold of me it causes great turmoil.
.

I don’t feel anger on a daily basis, but when I think about what makes me angry it’s hard to let it go.
.
I pray over and over to forgive. I will continue to do so, but am not expecting a physical reconciliation. Forgiveness is attainable; anything more would be a miracle.

Where Is Forgiveness? Can It Be Found?

.

anger feeds a part of me
I have never seen 
it chases me to places
I have never been 
caught up in chaos
I could live without 
wanting to make
the right decision
without all of this doubt
I thought that love
could blot out
every other offense 
yet the anger clings to me
and I can’t find forgiveness
