I Can Help You~~Poetry~~

I will meet you where you are

you curiously capture
my diverted attention
as I desperately struggle
to compose myself

I decide
once more
to let you in again
because I know
you need my help

your life
is spinning
round and round

you don’t know
where to go

you feel 
almost run
to the
ground

and you
struggle
putting on
your show

I’ll try
to help you 
along the way
and will give you
the space you need

as you learn to find 
yourself again
you can be set free

I have hope
we can
be friends

as we 
learn
to lean on
one another

and for you
to no longer
have to pretend

as we learn
to accept
each other

I think it’s imperative to not divide over issues we disagree on. Everyone is different; therefore, everyone will think differently. Even people who think the same are somehow different from each other.

Diversity in race, color, gender, sexual orientation, thought, and status, and embracing all these differences turn into a beautiful thing. If we all work together to treat everyone with dignity and respect, nothing can stop us. Love Always Wins In The End!!!
