Today’s poem is simple, filled with longing for what will never be. In life, we may encounter people or situations that make no sense. If anything, these things teach us how not to treat others and who to stay away from.
Walking Away Again
I had been lonely without you
imagining a reunion with you someday
but now all I feel is blue
wondering why you would treat me this way
I can’t see things from your point of view
I don’t understand lies or angry displays
I just wanted your love to be true
now once again, I must walk away
