Hello, my Poetry and Writing Friends!

Hello, my poetry and writing friends! How are you doing? I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my blog; I appreciate you being here!

*

My morning has been going pretty slow. I had a bunch of dreams last night, and even though I can’t remember them, they seem to be floating above my head and getting in my way. They will fade as the day progresses.

*

Do your dreams ever affect you? I used to let my dreams haunt me throughout the day, but I have been trying to let them go.

*

Today’s poem seems to centre around a dream, but I really don’t know. I hope you like it! Happy Poetry! 🙂

~The Remedy is Now Mine~~Poetry~

beneath the shadows
outside of time
*
I walked the sandy streets
and spoke with ancient men
*
their secrets were then mine
*
their mannerisms, unique
*
I locked the secrets up inside
and promised I would share them
*

an epiphany came over me
on the road, while pondering
*
the remedy was sealed in me
I now had to stop wandering
*
just to be safe
I wrote them down
*
I didn’t want to forget
*
I left without making a sound
and needed to get out
to spread the timeless message
so I could help the masses
and give them the key to all their blessings
*
the remedy is love
it breaks the barriers of time

*
it’s sent from up above
and it’s now a mission of mine

Since I am into creative writing, sometimes my poetry gets mixed with elements of fantasy, dreams, and imaginings. I like to have fun with words and fit things together like pieces in a puzzle. Other times, I like to speak directly from my heart about intense situations.

*

I am glad to be writing again. If you aren’t writing already, why not give it a try? Start by just writing down a few thoughts and expanding from there. You might be surprised by how much satisfaction writing can bring.

*

I hope you have a wonderful day and want to thank you again for being here~ 🙂

*

Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay safe, and be blessed! 🙂
