she knows the sun will shine again
and so she patches her wounds
and splashes her face
and moves on toward the source of light

she can’t stop shivering
from the joy in the air
sweet relief pours over her
and she blooms, then and there
her life becomes as beautiful as a flower

finally, the masterpiece appears
she manifests completeness
and says a prayer
it hugs her like a lullaby
and she can rest now
never truly alone
