Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends! 🖤
I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!
When I was younger, I devoted a great deal of my mental and physical energy to a set of children. Over the years, they have all changed, and sometimes it’s challenging to accept.
We have reached the point of no return and won’t be reconnecting. Sometimes, I still think back to innocent memories of being by the lake.
Today’s poem is very short and comes from one of those memories.

Not Anymore
I miss the days by the lake
the soft love that I had for you
those days have blown into the wind
and I have learned to live without you
