I continue to say a prayer to ask for help with whatever will come. I remember that trials lead to a better appreciation for the good things in life. Without sorrow, joy would be bland.

the times have been so different
life-changing and in motion
new faces in my memory
I have to keep on walking
the quiet in the doorway
the echoes in the darkness
have vanished into noonday
amidst the hearts that waste
