Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!🖤

I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!
.

This is an old string of nonsense mixed with memories. It always trips me out to look back, but sometimes looking back means as far back as yesterday.

Jibber-Jabber ~Thinking in Randoms~

The rain came and went, and my tears dried with their absence.
.
I gladly rearranged the living room and decluttered the bookshelves to clear my clouded mind.
.

I wasn’t sure if she’d be back again, and didn’t want to waste the moment (just in case).
.
I surely wanted to clean up because it’s better to free your space of unnecessary things.
.

I felt grateful for what I had and stopped looking back on the past.
.

I had something ready for the future and needed to remember to improve.
.

I found a cat beneath the stairs, and it reminded me of being a kid and chasing “Bunny” around the house.  (She’d hide underneath the stairs; I miss her…).
.
I turned my head to divert my eyes while at the same time seeing stars; the oxygen left mid-sentence when I was speaking to the neighbor.
.

I held back laughing tears as we talked about how she saw a purple turtle in her kitchen the other day- I didn’t believe her.
.

Sometimes I find it soothing to sit in the living room while listening to windchimes, thinking of better times I spent with my dad before he died.
.

I can see his smile and hear his voice- it melts the sadness away.
.

Tomorrow will be another day, and we can start fresh again.
.

We’ll eat strawberries in the sun, swim, and dig right in the sand with our hands.
.

I saw this man in the lake, and he was screaming something weird; I ignored him.
.

It’s sometimes fun to play with words and stir them up within a page.
.

It doesn’t always make much sense but speaks for itself within its rhythm
