Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!🖤
I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!
My life has changed so much in the last ten years. I walked away from my family (of origin), and almost all of my online friends. The dysfunction used to be so normal for me that I didn’t know what peace felt like. Once I felt a sense of peace (after the chaos cleared), I craved more.
No more drama, no more being put down or mistreated, and no more phonies or liars in my life. It took a long time to weed out my toxic garden. If I allow anyone else in, it will be because they have respect for who I am.

It Won’t Happen Again
I didn’t know you had a choice
with how you treated me
I thought that things were normal
in my angry family tree
I couldn’t see a way out
or a method to break free
now that I have some mental strength
I will not allow you to hurt me
