Innocence
innocence
is a state of mind
it can be swayed
by circumstances in life
it can be taken away
just as fast as it arrives
but it’s not really gone
because it’s all within your mind
Cleansing Rain
the cleansing rain
showers down
upon our precious
little town
and we can finally
rejoice once again
for the land needed
to be quenched
and we are blessed
because thankfully
it’s raining today
