Today’s poem is an old one, and I was kind of surprised when I read it. I don’t have the animosity I used to have for the witches in my life. I just want them all to stay out of my life.

I Wish You Were Here, But Not Why You Think
it’s not real
even though it is
it’s not going to be OK
but you need to tell yourself the opposite
things are sinking quickly
so before you try and escape
I want you to know I wish you were right here
suffering along with me in this sea of hurt
maybe it would help to mend your soul
to get a taste of your own medicine
