I Will Learn To Smile Again~~Poetry~

wandering
looking for the remedy
for this dulling, steady dread

pondering
about this recent tragedy
and how I wish I could go back to bed

hoping for a little relief
I need to have the patience
to process my grief

someday there will be an end to this suffering
and I will learn to smile again

I Am Grateful For You~~Poetry~

you called out to me
I heard your voice
but didn’t know where to find you
you came searching for me
you wanted me to walk  beside you
you laid a path so that I could move ahead freely
and helped me be who I was meant to be
you  cleared all of the cobwebs out of the way
I am forever grateful you wanted me to stay
