I wrote this poem when feeling the weight of my family’s cruelty. A few of my family members love to see me suffer and would love even more to see me fail. I will win by learning to let them go,
I have a heart that feels, eyes that cry, and feet that walk away.

I Don’t Care
it’s back again
I’m dreaming
about sleeping
having no
motivation
to get up
from my chair
knowing others
who hate me
want me
defeated
right now
I really just
don’t care
