Learning to enjoy my own company took many years, but once it “clicked,” I felt like I had found fine jewelry. Besides God, I can be my own best friend, and it’s a sweet song.
Saying goodbye can be a freeing experience.

we used to have a bond
so long ago
those days are gone
It’s time to say goodbye
we both have changed
no tears to cry
I still wish you well
I’ll let you go
and say farewell
