I have said goodbye to so many, for so many different reasons. I held onto some people far longer than was good for me.

I had to do what was best for my mental health and family.

Finally

I finally said goodbye to you 

I had to let you go 

You don’t know your own lies from truth 

I don’t think you will ever know 

I thought if I meant enough to you 

You might finally acknowledge the truth 

Yet I have always known deep down inside 

I’ll be better off without you
