Sometimes we have situations in life where we see things we didn’t see before. We don’t plan for these moments to arrive, but when they do, they hit us hard.
.
We can’t help but react to emotions slapping us in the face. When things are uncovered and brought to light, it’s difficult to ignore them, especially if the story doesn’t add up.
.
I used to be told to stop being such a detective, but if people stopped lying to me, I wouldn’t have to. I would rather be alone than be stuck with a lie.

Control
you violated my space
looked through my things
and now you are lying
and downplaying what you did
.
if you could have admitted
you were in the wrong
maybe we could have talked it out
and tried to move on
.
but lies will taint and tear
at a relationship
.
if one can’t be honest
what is the point?
.
when I brought it up
I got criticized for being me
.
where were the accusations before?
.
I had a trigger and couldn’t get past it
.
I needed a mental break
.
not forever
.
but some people have to be in control
and those people will end up lonely
.
even if they surround themselves with others
