Broken and Defeated
I can’t ignore my gaping wounds
while I’m dragging myself along the floor
you pick and pick and pick at me
I can’t take this treatment anymore
I’d rather crawl away from you
and leave right out that open door
I finally need to accept the truth
I should have learned before
