A Different State of Mind
she got lost
within the sapphire blue
the warm rain gave her
a short break from reality
a brief moment she could keep
until she could bravely face the world again
~Poetry is NOT dead!~
Going Outside
the sky looks like it will swallow me up
the wind rushes past me, and it frightens me
I look over at the moving trees
and watch for the activity of any wildlife
I try to drink in the moment, even though
the moment also brings with it so much fear
