Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!🖤

I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!

I have so many mixed feelings about so many things. I might as well make a stew of hurt, and create something with my pain.

Poetry does just that- it makes something artistic out of what was so horrible. It bookmarks happy memories as well. When in doubt, write poetry about it. Of course, don’t forget to pray! Poetry can be a prayer as well!

I said the words
but now my mouth
wants to retreat
back to the place
I wanted out
I had to leave
and now you’ve heard
without a doubt
what I did mean
it’s sad to know
I’ll live without
you here with me
