My Annie

Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!🖤

I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!

This year broke my heart after my Annie and Umi died. I put most things on hold, including my next book. As I play catch up with life and adjust to this new normal, my girls are never far from my mind. I know I will see them again when I go to Heaven. I have so much to look forward to after this life is over!

Thankfully, Jesus has comforted me through these dark times. He stayed with me when I couldn’t handle being around anyone else. In the darkness, His light shines beyond the sadness. One day, those who trust in Him will have their tears wiped away.

I’m Out of Time

the tears fell
I didn’t try to catch them
they stained my heart
no one will ever compare
you’re on my mind
I try to call out to Heaven
I’m out of time
you’re no longer here
