I have recently released myself from many people. It feels liberating yet scary at the same time. My heart tells me that being free from so much toxicity has to make positive changes in my life.

Maybe someday I can find someone to have a healthy friendship with (in real life). Currently, all of my friends are online, and that is OK.

Protecting My Sanity
you showed me I had
power within my limits
you took me for granted
and I always knew it
I wonder if you deliberately
rewrote the past
or if you knew that our
relationship would never last
if I sit still with my thoughts
and think about what you did to me
I count the blessing of knowing
I can now become free
it’s not easy to make the choice
to walk away from you
but it’s the only way I know
how I can sanely get through
