Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!

I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!

I live most of my life in solitude. It has driven people away throughout the years because my social anxiety has gotten to the point where I can’t see people in person. Many end up taking this personally and abandoning me completely. I appreciate those who have stayed around, and especially, I appreciate my husband. 💚💚💚

You Can’t

you can’t see the light in the darkness
you willingly close your eyes
you won’t try to fix your blindness
you don’t even want to try
you disregard others’ kindness
instead, you always ask why
you have no problem staying mindless
you don’t care if it’s the truth or a lie
you think my ideas are foolish
you don’t care where you go when you die
you are released from the ties that bind us
I refuse to feed your supply
