I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!

I am having trouble processing the loss of a friendship. I wonder how long ago the friendship ended without me realizing it. I feel foolish, being the last one to know.

I won’t beg for them to come back. If they don’t value me enough to respond to me, then it’s not worth it.

Life moves on, and we keep moving with it. Some walk beside us, and some stay behind.

No More Begging

maybe it was just a game to me
I’m having trouble analyzing how I feel
no one likes to be rejected
did I personally ever do you wrong?
I just wanted to brighten up your day
you’ve been listening to evil lies
you never asked me for the truth
instead, you ignored my entire existence
maybe you’re just a bad taste I can’t get to leave my mouth
maybe you were a bad habit I need to replace
I will not keep devaluing myself
by begging and crawling back to talk to you
