Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends! 🙂
I hope you are well! Thank you for visiting my poetry blog. I appreciate you being here!
I must have written this poem during a time of confusion. I look at it now, and it looks foreign. When I write, I am often not completely aware of how I am feeling until I read what I have written.
It’s a strange phenomenon, but it also happens when I play the piano (in a different form). Playing the piano brings a release that can’t be put into words.
Somewhere in between the lines of poetry lives raw emotion and various art forms. Music, like poetry, is an art, and they both speak deeply to my soul.

Carousel
looking down
to the ground
wondering if
thoughts are sound
down is up
up is down
I don’t know
if I’ll drown
searching for
things not found
turn away
from the crowd
live today
live it loud
send my thoughts
to the clouds
