Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends! 🙂

The days go up and down, and I go with them. I feel things deeply and get emotionally wiped out quite easily. I have to protect my space during these times so I don’t self-destruct and fall into a persistent low.

I’m saying thanks to God for being here with me.

grinding my teeth
pain in my eye
holding my head
I stop to pray
they won’t defeat
or conquer my mind
no more to be said
as I walk away
