It Doesn’t Have to Be
send the message out
I have decided to get help
I need to clean out my mind
and learn to leave the past behind
I’m sick of the intrusive thoughts
and my wounds being filled with salt
if I can learn how to let go of my resentment
these emotions won’t have to be a life sentence
